Hinterbrühl

The market town is nestled in the lovely Vienna Woods landscape and is not only known worldwide as a spa town, but also for its lake grotto, the Sparbach Nature Park, the Höldrichsmühle mill and the SOS Children's Village. The beauty of the landscape attracted famous artists such as Ludwig van Beethoven and Franz Schubert. Georg Waldmüller, Richard Wagner, Ferdinand Raimund and many more also spent a lot of time here and were inspired by the landscape in their works.
