The Traisentalbahn runs between St. Pölten and Lilienfeld-Schrambach.
An exciting journey through the green valley to Lilienfeld - with the Lower Austrian Traisentalbahn.
Many beautiful excursion destinations are practically along the way: today's Traisen Valley Railway runs from Traisen to Lilienfeld with its historic monastery and the local mountain Muckenkogel - and to the terminus at Schrambach. In the past, the line continued via Sankt Aegyd am Neuwalde to Kernhof.
Since 2012, the section between Freiland and St. Aegyd has also been used for freight transport again - with special trips for passenger transport.
