Description
The trail starts in Perchtoldsdorf at the parish church and leads via the Pfarrer-Karl-Seemann-Promenade into the Föhrenberge Nature Park to the Parapluieberg (Franz Ferdinand-Schutzhaus, 01:15 h). From there, the route continues through sparse deciduous forests via the Kammersteinerhütte, Kugelwiese and Seewiese - past Wildegg Castle - to Sittendorf (03:00 h). Via Meierei Füllenberg you come to the highway underpass, behind which the Heiligenkreuz cemetery is already located. From the cemetery, you soon reach the baroque Calvary of Heiligenkreuz Abbey, via which you can reach the abbey in a few minutes (01:30 h). From the monastery you finally reach Mayerling (01:15 h). From Mayerling, asphalted paths and country lanes lead to Maria Raisenmarkt. The route continues through the forest to Holzschlag (02:00 h) and via the Peilsteinhaus and Neuhaus Castle to Weißenbach an der Triesting (02:30 h). At the village center, take the turn-off to Furth and walk along the main road for just over a kilometer to Gh Bruthenne.
