Gasthof zur Donaubrücke

Description
Some call it relationship management. Others call it maintaining contacts. Whatever the case, the Gasthof zur Donaubrücke is and remains a popular place for a cultivated get-together. The cuisine of landlord Hermann Froschauer in Ardagger has been bridging the gap between past culinary art and modern trends since 2006. This results in refined dishes. The Gasthof zur Donaubrücke is one of the top addresses in Lower Austria. The high-quality meat comes from the region. Mostviertel lamb, beef, pork and fish are prepared in the kitchen in a variety of ways. The trout is roasted whole and served with almond butter and parsley potatoes. Guests can best recognize the chef's signature with the "Wildererpfandl" - a ragout of venison, roe deer and wild boar with a strong red wine sauce and chanterelles.
Delicious food right on the Danube
In order to maintain the high quality standard in the future, major investments were made in 2021. The Gasthof zur Donaubrücke has a new look. The banqueting hall with around 120 seats is once again in keeping with the modern zeitgeist. The new bar area with reception also significantly enhances the inn. The newly designed sun terrace pays off in the warmer months. Guests can gaze across the Danube to the town of Grein and usually end up at the imposing Greinburg Castle. This view, combined with the high-quality cuisine and refreshingly attentive service staff, makes a stay in this family-run establishment a well-rounded experience.
