Description
Built in 2014, the viewing platform offers a wonderful view over the entire village of Kirchberg an der Pielach. The platform is freely accessible from the church forecourt and is the starting or end point of the Kirchberg "Dirndlrunde - Naturrunde".
The steel and wood construction is 27 meters long and weighs 14.5 tons. The railing is mainly made of wood. The platform also includes 25 running meters of glass panels. A total of 140 running meters of welded seams were used. The Skywalk rises to a height of around 34 meters (as seen from the site). The height of the supporting columns below the platform is 12 meters.
