Description
The VinziRast am Land is located between Heiligenkreuz and Mayerling directly on the pilgrimage route "Via Sacra" of the "holy road" - the oldest and probably most popular pilgrimage route in Austria that leads from Brunn am Gebirge to Mariazell.
Our house is located a little way after the end of the first stage from Brunn am Gebirge to Mariazell - peacefully nestled between our chicken coop, the greenhouse, vegetable fields and a 600m² biotope. And you can enjoy the sun with us from sunrise to sunset.
The VinziRast am Land team is a colorful mix
The focus is on the 30 or so formerly homeless people who live in the VinziRast am Land and - depending on their personal abilities - do small or more extensive jobs in the house, the farm or the restaurant. Every action is important and valuable, and the day-to-day work and cooperation - the organization of the processes in the farm and in the house itself - from the basic care of the residents to the various offers for external guests - is supported and accompanied by full-time and volunteer staff.One of the aims of our project is to develop a daily structure by offering regular and suitable work, which can provide a little more self-confidence, stability, joie de vivre, professional reorientation and much more...
What makes your overnight stay with us so special?
With your valuable contribution, you as guests become part of this great social project. The VinziRast is financed exclusively by donations. Every euro that we (have to) earn here through your overnight stay and your consumption in order to be economically independent goes directly to VinziRast am Land.

Some rooms in the former 4-star hotel will continue to be available for guests to book. These are spacious, simply furnished double rooms, all equipped with a shower and/or bath, WC and some with a balcony. We have kept the furnishings of the rooms in the style of the former 4-star hotel.
Breakfast is always included when you book an overnight stay. For pilgrim guests, breakfast is of course available from 6 a.m. We offer what we have produced ourselves - wherever possible - on our farm.
In VinziRast am Land there are numerous possibilities to holdevents, celebrations and training courses - the uncomplicated combination of indoor and outdoor - the possibility to dock directly to nature - is the big plus - we think.
The VinziRast-Station offers hikers and visitors a cozy resting place where they can enjoy nature and take a break.
Here you can "rest" comfortably together and shop in the farm store at your leisure.
