A special feature of the Mostviertel region is the new Via Trinitatis pilgrimage trail. Pilgrims experience a truly powerful place and the rich culture of the region from many perspectives. The start and finish is the famous Sonntagberg Basilica.

The Sonntagberg is a true place of power in the Mostviertel region. With its imposing basilica, it towers over the hills of the region. It is also the starting and finishing point for a varied 74 or 110 kilometre pilgrimage. In 4 or 5 stages, it leads through a contrasting landscape and cultural region, allowing pilgrims to experience the history and cuisine of the Mostviertel and Eisenwurzen regions.
