The forest gorge of the Unrechttraisen leads – steepening more towards the end – to Kernhofer Gscheid (03:30 h). From St. Aegyd there is also the option to reach Gscheid via Kernhof. After Gscheid follows a road section, after which one turns onto a forest road and crosses the Krumbach saddle into the Walstern valley (junction of the Falkenschlucht path from Türnitz). The route continues along Hubertus Lake (on asphalt) to Bruder-Klaus Church (02:30 h). From here you go westwards in the Walstern valley to the junction to the moderately challenging Habertheuers saddle.
